Son of Neptune by Rick Riordan the sequel to Lost Hero was worth the wait in my opinion. I did not care for Lost Hero that much. It did not have the suspense and original story that the Percy Jackson series has or the Kane Chronicles. However, this book kept my interest all the way through. Possibly because we are following Percy again, but he does not really realize or remember everything.
I loved seeing the Greek gods appearing in their Roman forms. However, I still like the name Aphrodite over Venus or Zeus over Jupiter etc. Some gods are not as powerful in the Roman form as in their Greek form or vice versa.
