I am hoping that now that I have a new app on my Smart Phone, I will be able to keep up with my posting. However, I may end up with many typos, so bear with me as I explore this new technology.
Speaking of technology: I am currently reading Thirteenth Child by Patricia Wrede. Although the book is primarily fantasy, it makes me think technology because it is set in the settling of the west using magic. Kind of weird, but fascinating. In the book there is a group called the Rationalists that do not want to use magic to create barriers to keep out dragons and other wildlife. I see analogies between the Amish and the decision to avoid technology. Is definitely worth a read, but may not be for everyone.
